1. Open Mic Night – Tennessee Brew Works

Open Mic Monday at Tennessee Brew Works celebrates the talent of the singer/songwriter community here in Nashville. Gather up at Tennessee Brew Works and enjoy an evening filled with soulful melodies and original musical creations.

If you want to show off your own musical creations, the stage is open to all, and signups begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Immerse yourself in the performances while enjoying Tennessee Brew Works’ award-winning craft beers, delicious food, and cocktails.

2. Singo – Fat Bottom Brewing

3. Hot Club Gypsy Jazz – Rudy’s Jazz Room

Hot Club Gypsy Jazz Thursdays at Rudy’s French Connection

Every Thursday Rudy’s honors their New Orleans and French roots, coming alive with live gypsy jazz swing. We bring you music inspired by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with “Hot Club” gypsy jazz swing. Known for fierce tempos and effortless improvisation, our Hot Club Gypsy Thursdays are sure to entertain, inspire, and bring you back to some authentic “jazz manouche” with groups either led or curated by New Orleans LA native Brook Sutton.

Serving classic New Orleans prohibition cocktails, local brews, and New Orleans cuisine. Enjoy $8 French Quarter inspired cocktails (Sazerac, French 75, Daquiris), and half priced beignets. Have a glass of Côtes du Rhône and enjoy some gumbo while listening to the rhythm and mood of hot club jazz in Nashville’s most intimate and romantic room.

4. 54th Nashville Film Festival

The 54th Nashville Film Festival is a week-long celebration of film, music, and culture, taking place at several of Nashville’s premier arts venues with film screenings, industry panels, and social events.

Founded in 1969, the Nashville Film Festival is one of the first film festivals in the United States.

You’ll enjoy more than 125 film screenings, a selection of post-film Q&As and in-depth discussions with attending filmmakers, along with premium in-person screening events, incredible interactive audiences, and a myriad of accompanying special events including after parties, live music performances, panels, and workshops.

5. Much Ado About Nothing – Nashville Shakespeare Festival

Welcome to Nashville, 1973. Experience Much Ado About Nothing performed with a blend of nostalgia and contemporary relevance! This romantic comedy of miscommunication results in peace, love, and understanding. This performance is family-friendly and a treat for all ages!

Want to learn more about Much Ado About Nothing before watching the performance? Come early to hear from some of the region’s most respected Shakespeare scholars and local luminaries during the specialized Insight Lecture Series.

The Pre-Show Concert Series showcases diverse Nashville-based artists.

6. Thursday Night Out – LIGHT: Bill Munro at Cheekwood

7. Musicians Corner

Nashville Things to Do September 25-October 1 - Musicians CornerDon’t miss the final weekend of Musicians Corner 2023 Fall Series! In addition to the music, there will be local artisans, food trucks, MC Pub, and Kidsville.

On Friday, the spotlight is on Nashville’s diverse musical landscape with performances from YSA, VEAUX, The Explorers Club, Gramps Morgan, and Josie Dunne.

On Saturday, be sure and catch performances from Jessie Baylin, Striking Matches, Gustavo Moradel, Larysa Jaye, and Sonja Hopkins.

GET THERE EARLY! They’re giving away 250 trees on a first come, first serve basis in partnership with Nashville Tree Foundation and Twice Daily.

8. Nashville Brew Fest

Nashville Things to Do September 25-October 1 - Nashville Brew FestFeaturing over 50 breweries and more than 150 unique beers, the Nashville Brew Festival will take place on Saturday at the old baseball field and throughout the concourse of First Horizon Park.

You’ll also enjoy food trucks, music, lawn games, and more! Both general admission and Early Admission will include unlimited beer – Early Admission attendees will have access to specialty beer poured during the first hour.

Food will be sold separately.
